We enjoyed our first day ashore to achieve an output skiing.

After bad weather days in the sea (snow and wind) we had the chance to have sunshine to the top!

The view is beautiful; we overlook the crater of the volcano and the ocean stretching all around us. By scanning the horizon we see the islands’ Ice and rock through the clouds.

The decor seems unreal and we realize our luck. The downhill skiing is very pleasant, good snow and good atmosphere!

We left our anchorage Deception Island the next day to sail to Port Lockroy where we are now. We sail the seas in arms bordered by huge glaciers. Many are present iceberg and navigation requires a lot of attention.

From the boat, we can see all 7 Sisters which is one of the main objectives of this expedition. Nobody done the traverse before!!. If time permits, we will go there for further understanding before our traverse.
